About the Book

How does it feel to see a terror war coming and not be believed? What's it like to work for the mainstream media if your heart is outside the mainstream?

It's 2000, and reporter Frank DiRaimo knows in his gut that the "Oslo peace process" is a sham and Yasser Arafat is about to launch a murder campaign against the people of Israel. While battling his own demons, Frank strives to expose the truth and keep faith with an allied population regardless of the personal and professional cost.

Frank, a Vietnam veteran, is an outlier and a throwback to an earlier time. Unlike his colleagues in the news business, he doesn't consider himself a detached observer, an unbiased citizen of the world who is above the fray. He's an old-fashioned American who's thrown in his lot with the Jews of the Middle East.

The Tribalist is the story of the love and commitment of one man for a country and culture not his own.
